EDUCATE

Kindergarten Build

Every child deserves the best start in life. Access to quality early education remains limited, leaving too many children without the foundation they need to thrive.

The Kindergarten Build Program gives children the confidence, essential literacy, numeracy and life skills they need to succeed.

We have established three kindergartens in Bua, Vanua Levu, designed to withstand severe cyclones and serve as emergency evacuation centres for nearby communities.

Building on this success, we plan to provide category 5 early learning facilities across all nine regions of the Bua Province and beyond. By supporting early learning, we are not just building classrooms, we are building futures.

EDUCATE

Student Essentials Program

A lack of resources should never stand between a student and their education. Across Fiji, too many students go without the essential tools they need to learn.

Through our Student Essentials Program, we provide vital resources to kindergartens, primary and secondary schools across Fiji, including educational supplies, uniforms and classroom furniture.

Many of these resources are made possible through the generous in-kind support of our partners.

To support tertiary success, every student from Bua entering tertiary study receives a laptop for the duration of their course, part of our commitment to advancing access and engagement in higher education.

Our goal is simple: provide students with the essentials they need to focus on learning, grow academically and unlock their full potential.

EDUCATE

Tertiary Support Program

Tertiary education has the power to transform a life. Yet it remains out of reach due to poverty, distance and lack of support. We are working to change that.

The Tertiary Hostel Program breaks barriers, offering students from disadvantaged communities a true home away from home with everything they need to succeed:

Safe, stable housing and daily meals
Counselling, medical care and a full-time matron and caretaker
Mentorship, community and connection
A laptop and essential supplies

Our mission is to keep students engaged and supported throughout their tertiary journey, because when one succeeds, whole families and communities benefit.

HEAL

Health Initiatives

Safe, dignified care should be accessible to all. We work to make that a reality across Fiji's most under-resourced communities.

Our Health Initiatives are dedicated to improving access to healthcare across Fiji. Working with trusted partners across Australia, we donate essential medical equipment, healthcare supplies and hospital furniture to those who need it most.

To date, we have refurbished hospital wards in Nabouwalu and Savusavu, replacing beds and patient care furniture to improve comfort and outcomes. In a national first, we donated Fiji’s first Echo bed and other critical equipment to Colonial War Memorial Hospital in Suva, raising the standard of healthcare across the country.

Beyond infrastructure, we have invested in Fiji’s health future by initiating the Medical Outreach Program in Bua Province, now handed to Nabouwalu Hospital, promoting preventative care and chronic disease education to help communities avoid illness.

HEAL

Clean Water Program

Access to clean, safe drinking water is a right, not a privilege. Unreliable or unsafe water sources put health, education and livelihoods at risk, leaving families vulnerable to waterborne disease and its consequences.

Through our Clean Water Program, we have distributed portable clean water kits to every classroom in every school across Bua and installed water tanks in villages throughout the region. Yet the need remains urgent, with countless households still waiting for access to safe, clean water.

When safe drinking water is accessible, children stay in school, families stay healthy, livelihoods are protected and communities are free to focus on building a better future.

BUILD

Community Support Program

Behind every strong community are the spaces that bring people together to learn, gather and be cared for. We are proud to help support them.

Through our Community Support Program, we respond to community-led requests to help build, restore and upgrade the spaces that matter most across Fiji.

From refurbishing classrooms across Vanua Levu and Suva, to supporting the construction of community halls, to gifting dignity and comfort to aged care facilities, our work is as varied as the communities we serve. We are driven by the same belief: that safe, dignified spaces should be within reach for all.

In many remote communities across Vanua Levu, reliable internet access has never existed, limiting opportunities for education, healthcare and connection to the widerworld. In partnership with Lightspeed Fiji, we are changing that by installing Starlink across schools, parishes and surrounding communities throughout the region. Students gain access to a world of learning and communities are no longer isolated from the possibilities that connectivity brings.

BUILD

Social Enterprise

True and lasting change means creating opportunities from within. Our social enterprise is building exactly that.

Our Social Enterprise develops locally driven initiatives in Vanua Levu that create meaningful employment, foster economic growth and generate proceeds that directly support our work across Fiji.

By integrating modern agricultural techniques with traditional knowledge, we are investing in a future where communities can build long-term resilience and sustainability from the ground up.
